MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Reef Fish Restoration Association is to promote the enhancement of reef fish stocks through the development of artificial reefs in the Gulf of Mexico, advance the development of recreational fishing reefs in the region and assist commercial fisherman in the development of artificial reefs.

Through public education and scientific research, the RFRA plans to promote awareness and understanding of the value of artificial reef ecosystems in the Gulf. Through these efforts, we can promote tourism and support equitable fishing conservation efforts as well as promote cooperation with local, state and federal law enforcement and other regulatory agencies, ensure water safety for all, and serve as an environmental and fishing industry advocate.
